1. Who we are
bluestay is a software service operated by Wise in Blue (Greece), email [email protected]. It helps accommodation owners manage guest communication (welcome guide, direct bookings, breakfast, extras, local recommendations, pre-check-in, reviews, cleaning and a property logbook).
2. Data controller & processor
When you (the property owner) use bluestay, you are the data controller of your guests' data. Wise in Blue is the data processor: we process that data only to provide the service, and we do not access your guests' content except for technical support at your request.

3. What we collect
From property owners (our customers)
Name, email, password (encrypted), optional VAT number, billing and subscription data, and any message you send via the contact form.
From guests (collected by the owner through bluestay)
Depending on the active modules: name, email, phone, messages, dietary preferences, stay dates, pre-check-in details and — if requested — a photo of an ID document.
4. Where your data is stored & service providers
Database and files: Supabase, EU region (Frankfurt, Germany). The landing-page contact form is handled by Formspree (USA) — it only receives the message of someone asking about bluestay, never guest data. Notification emails to owners (and any co-hosts) — for example when a guest sends a new request — are delivered through Resend (USA), which processes the recipient's email address and the content of that notification.
5. How long we keep it
Guest ID documents are kept only for the time needed to fulfil the legal guest-registration duty, then deleted. Retention periods follow the law of the country where the property is located: the property owner sets and is responsible for the applicable periods (which differ between Greece, Italy and other countries). Other guest data is kept for the time needed to provide the service and is then removed or anonymised. Owners can delete any guest record at any time from their admin panel.
6. Cookies & analytics
bluestay uses only essential, technical storage (your language, light/dark theme, login session). We do not use advertising cookies and we don't track you across sites.
To understand overall usage we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first service that collects aggregated, anonymous statistics (such as page views and country) without cookies and without profiling or identifying individual visitors. For this reason no cookie consent banner is required.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Guests should contact the property owner (the controller). Owners can contact us at [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for Wise in Blue this is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA), dpa.gr — or with the authority of your own country.
8. Terms of service (summary)
The service is provided on a subscription (or free for the Blue Toolkit). You're responsible for your account and for giving your own guests a privacy notice. The software and the bluestay brand belong to Wise in Blue; your content stays yours. Full terms available on request.
9. Local laws & your obligations
bluestay is a tool to manage guest communication — it does not replace your legal duties. You, the property owner, are solely responsible for knowing and complying with the laws and regulations that apply to your property and your activity (guest registration, taxes, tourist tax, house rules, cancellation and booking terms, safety, and any other local obligation), which differ from country to country and city to city. Any rules, terms, prices or information you publish through bluestay are your own: it is your responsibility to make sure they are lawful and up to date. When in doubt, check with the competent local authority or your legal/tax advisor.

Aiuta i proprietari di strutture a gestire la comunicazione con gli ospiti (guida, prenotazioni dirette, colazioni, extra, consigli sul territorio, pre-check-in, recensioni, pulizie e registro della struttura).
2. Titolare e responsabile
Quando tu (proprietario) usi bluestay, sei il titolare del trattamento dei dati dei tuoi ospiti. Wise in Blue è il responsabile del trattamento: tratta quei dati solo per fornire il servizio e non accede ai contenuti dei tuoi ospiti, salvo assistenza tecnica su tua richiesta.

3. Cosa raccogliamo
Dai proprietari (nostri clienti)
Nome, email, password (cifrata), eventuale P.IVA, dati di fatturazione e abbonamento, e gli eventuali messaggi inviati dal form di contatto.
Dagli ospiti (raccolti dal proprietario tramite bluestay)
A seconda dei moduli attivi: nome, email, telefono, messaggi, preferenze alimentari, date del soggiorno, dati di pre-check-in e — se richiesto — la foto di un documento d'identità.
4. Dove stanno i dati e fornitori del servizio
Database e file: Supabase, region UE (Frankfurt, Germania). Il form di contatto della landing è gestito da Formspree (USA) e riceve solo il messaggio di chi chiede informazioni su bluestay, mai dati degli ospiti. Le email di notifica ai proprietari (ed eventuali co-host) — ad esempio quando un ospite invia una nuova richiesta — sono inviate tramite Resend (USA), che tratta l'indirizzo email del destinatario e il contenuto della notifica.
5. Per quanto li conserviamo
I documenti d'identità degli ospiti si conservano solo per il tempo necessario ad assolvere l'obbligo di registrazione, poi vengono cancellati. I tempi di conservazione seguono la legge del paese in cui si trova la struttura: è il proprietario a impostare e rispettare i termini applicabili (che variano tra Grecia, Italia e altri paesi). Gli altri dati degli ospiti si conservano per il tempo necessario a fornire il servizio e poi vengono rimossi o anonimizzati. Il proprietario può cancellare qualsiasi dato di un ospite in ogni momento dal pannello.
6. Cookie e statistiche
bluestay usa solo memorizzazione tecnica essenziale (lingua, tema chiaro/scuro, sessione di accesso). Non usa cookie pubblicitari e non ti traccia tra siti diversi.
Per capire l'utilizzo complessivo usiamo Cloudflare Web Analytics, un servizio attento alla privacy che raccoglie statistiche aggregate e anonime (come visualizzazioni di pagina e paese) senza cookie e senza profilare o identificare i singoli visitatori. Per questo non è richiesto un banner di consenso ai cookie.
7. I tuoi diritti (GDPR)
Accesso, rettifica, cancellazione, limitazione, portabilità e opposizione. Gli ospiti contattano il proprietario (titolare). I proprietari possono scriverci a [email protected]. È possibile presentare reclamo a un'autorità di controllo — per Wise in Blue è la Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA), dpa.gr — oppure all'autorità del proprio paese.
8. Termini di servizio (sintesi)
Il servizio è fornito in abbonamento (o gratuito per il Blue Toolkit). Sei responsabile del tuo account e di fornire ai tuoi ospiti una tua informativa privacy. Il software e il marchio bluestay appartengono a Wise in Blue; i tuoi contenuti restano tuoi. Termini completi disponibili su richiesta.
9. Normative locali e tuoi obblighi
bluestay è uno strumento per gestire la comunicazione con gli ospiti: non si sostituisce ai tuoi obblighi di legge. Tu, proprietario, sei l'unico responsabile di conoscere e rispettare le leggi e le normative che si applicano alla tua struttura e alla tua attività (registrazione ospiti, imposte, tassa di soggiorno, regole della casa, condizioni di prenotazione e cancellazione, sicurezza e ogni altro obbligo locale), che variano da paese a paese e da città a città. Le regole, le condizioni, i prezzi o le informazioni che pubblichi tramite bluestay sono tuoi: è tua responsabilità assicurarti che siano leciti e aggiornati. In caso di dubbio, verifica con l'autorità locale competente o con il tuo consulente legale/fiscale.
